We are looking for Sleeve Machine Operator in our production facility. Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient running of production from the machine to which they are assigned to ensure that production runs and procedures are carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency for their machine.Essential Functions:Under the supervision and direction of the Department Manager, to successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Control and adjust machine settings to customer specification
- Inspect materials and end product to ensure it meets specification and is free of quality defects
- Inspect measuring and other tools needed to safely run the machine and produce quality product to customer specification
- Test operation of machines periodically
- Fix issues that occur with the machine; document fix. Notify supervisor when assistance required
- Verify output to detect any machine-related flaws
- Maintain records of daily production and repair activity
- Safely feed raw materials into semi-automated machines to ensure smooth run cycle
- Maintain work area in a clean, neat and tidy fashion at all times.
- Restock materials for next shift or when supplies run low
- Properly package completed job run for delivery to the customer.
- Other projects or tasks as assigned by manager.
- Assist other Operators as needed by manager (ex: due to absence due to illness, vacation, etc.)
- Other tasks or projects as required by manager.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
