All employees of North Star Mohican Casino Resort must meet the following qualifications.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License.Must submit to a Criminal Investigation Background Check (CIB).Must maintain an acceptable departmental attendance record.Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screening and health screening.Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.Must be at least 18 years of age.STANDARD DUTIES:Must attend all training provided by North Star Mohican Casino Resort.Must adhere to all established rules, regulations, procedures, and policies of North Star Mohican Casino Resort and the Slot Department.Must participate in employee random drug testing program.Must be able to work with a variety of people with diverse personalities.Must attend all meetings, as assigned.Must wear the approved departmental uniform.Must be reliable and prompt when reporting to work.Must maintain compliance with all workplace policies, procedures, ordinances, laws and other communicated expectations, including but not limited to: Employment Manual, gaming Ordinance, State Gaming Compact, Minimum Internal Controls, Department Procedures, memos and other communication from supervisory or regulatory personnel.All other assigned duties.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma or GED is required.QUALIFICATIONS:North Star Mohican Casino Resort is looking for a courteous and friendly individual.Must have at least one year full-time working supervisory experience or two (2) years step-up supervisory experience.Must have ability to communicate effectively and efficiently both verbally and in writing.Must possess an outgoing and energetic personality.Must have ability to exercise independent judgment, work independently and meet strict timelines.Must possess a positive attitude while working with a variety of personalities.Must have demonstrated ability to maintain satisfactory working record in any prior or current employment.DUTIES:Responsible for supervising, training, and evaluating assigned staff.Assess and analyze all work performance activities for the purpose of continually improving area. Ensure systems are in place which guarantees work activities are completed and results are achieved.Ensure guests receive a pleasant experience by practicing positive guest services including, but not limited to, answering customer questions, resolving immediate concerns, demonstrating how the games are played and performing duties of the slot attendant when needed.Responsible for handling all disputes involving customers and department personnel.
