JOB SUMMARY:The main responsibilities of a Slot Technician are machine installation, preventative maintenance, service, adjustments, and repairs to casino slot machines, ticket redemption machines and sportsbook kiosks. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Saracen Casino Resort policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensure that all slot machines perform to expectations and that machine downtime is minimized
- Troubleshoot and repair slot machines and peripherals
- Understand and carry out detailed instructions and projects
- Assist management in resolving customer issues with slot machines
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in ethical manner
- Provide exemplary customer service at all times
- Outstanding example of and a credit to Saracen Casino Resort
- Perform all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to interpret and implement technical instructions
- Ability to multitask
- Knowledge of various internal written, and written and verbal codes/abbreviations
- Professional appearance
- Team player
- Strong electronics, mechanical or computer experience desired
- Previous casino experience preferred
- Previous slot technician experience strongly preferred

- Must be able to navigate to all areas of the casino and be able to respond to visual and aural cues
- Must be able to maneuver slot machines up to 400 pounds with the assistance of coworker(s), machine lifts and/or hand trucks
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items
- Have a sense of urgency and keep up with fast paced business practices
- Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke
- Must be able to walk and be on feet for a long period of time
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends as well as be able to work flexible shifts
