SUMMARYPerform all necessary repairs to Slot/VLT machines, change machines, signs, and Slot/VLT monitoring equipment and also rebuild and repair all Slot/VLT parts, tools and related equipment.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber customer to all patrons/employees of Mountaineer Casino. Troubleshoot and repair any Slot/VLT machine and related equipment including all circuit boards without assistance. Responsible for the initial set-up and check-out of new slot machines, ensures the machines are in proper working condition. Perform floor repair and preventative maintenance of all slot machines, including cleaning machines and overhauls. Observe all policies and procedures. Maintain the integrity of the slot machine equipment and secure all company assets and property at all times. Responsible for the security of keys, radios, tools, and gaming related licenses and player tracking cards from check-in to check-out. Responsible for completing all regulatory and company operational logs/forms correctly; i.e., meal books and repair logs, etc. Work with Slot Tech Manager, Slot Shift Managers, Representative and Supervisors to insure slot machines, change machines, and all related equipment are in proper working order and all customer needs are satisfied. Complete slot machine repair slips and related repair logs; i.e., CPU, I/O and parts sign out sheets. Performs renovations or changes in the Slot Department area. Tag repairable parts noting appropriate information. Circulate through the assigned area replacing broken or burned out bulbs, rubbing reels, etc. Will advise Slot Tech Manager in developing/teaching advanced electronic repairs. Assist patrons by explaining club membership, application form, the benefits and how the card works at the slot machine. Assist other floor personnel when advanced troubleshooting skills are required. All other duties as assigned. REPORTING LINEYou will report directly to the then to Slot Tech Manager then to the Slot Performance ManagerQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.

- The ability to work in a fast -paced environment.
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- You must be able to obtain a VLT Slot Technician License through the WV Lottery.
- You also must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
- Must possess a general knowledge of electronics, and basic computer systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for all related slot equipment changes, cage equipment, computer and networks.
- Ability to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work.
- Ability to set and achieve high standards of performance. Ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints; ability to travel to various locations of the business.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to conduct analyses and generate reports to reflect findings.

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Maintenance and electronic background helpful.
- Minimum of one-year slot repair experience in a gaming environment and or 1,000 hours formal training in electronics or equivalent related work experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe ability to lift and carry heavy objects, approximately 60 pounds. Ability to stand for extended period of time, 4 hours; Ability to sit for extended periods of time, 2 hours; ability to reach for specific objects at short distances in local working area. Ability to use tools and equipment, including a drill press and soldering gun; ability to kneel, bend and stoop. Ability to smell odors or aromas; perceive depth and distances, emergency distress signals; inspect or secure proper use of equipment. Ability to withstand high frequency noises or sounds of varying tones and varying degrees of lighting. WORK ENVIRONMENTWill be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
