Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Medical Director to lead the medical operations at their clinic. The Medical Director will ensure the delivery of top-notch veterinary care while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment for the team. This role involves mentoring Associate Veterinarians, managing clinic operations with the Clinic Manager, and contributing to the clinic's overall success, while also providing veterinary care. Qualification Needed: A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or an equivalent international degree. Current state licensure in Virginia or eligibility to obtain it. DEA licensure and Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certification, if applicable. Ideally, 3-5+ years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting.
