Job Description: Our client is seeking a Medical Director to lead the medical operations of their clinic. The Medical Director will ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care while fostering a positive and collaborative environment for the clinic team. This role involves both leadership responsibilities and direct veterinary care, including mentoring Associate Veterinarians and ensuring the success of clinic operations alongside the Clinic Manager.Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary Medical Degree (DVM/VMD or foreign equivalent).
- State licensure in good standing or eligibility for licensure in Virginia.
- DEA licensure and Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certificate if required.
- 3-5+ years of clinical veterinary experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
