This role involves assembling small components and subassemblies according to detailed instructions and quality standards. Person in this position is responsible for ensuring accuracy, speed, and adherence to production goals. Their contribution will significantly impact the workplace atmosphere and contribute to our organization's overall success. WORK RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIESAssemble small components and subassemblies following detailed work instructionsUse hand tools and equipment to fasten parts togetherInspect assembled products for defects and quality assuranceApply proper labeling to finished products and various incoming materialsKeep assembled products at their required inventory levelsPut away raw materials to their stocking locationsMaintain a clean and organized workspaceAdhere to safety guidelines and regulationsContribute to team goals and a positive work environmentAssist in daily inventory transactions consisting of pick, pack, and ship for ecommerce.Communicate effectively Small Assembly Lead and Warehouse SupervisorObserves and follows company safety rules and regulationsPerforms other related duties as assignedRequirementsQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious work experience working in a warehouse environment or general inventory and assembly knowledge is preferred.Experience operating a forklift is a plus, but not required.PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPECTATIONSBasic hand tool proficiencyGood manual dexterity and attention to detailAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to operate a computer scanner successfully or willing to learn.Pay attention to detail.Ability to maintain focus while working individually.General passion for creative problem-solving.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe position requires occasional standing, lifting, and carrying. Frequent sitting, standing from a seated position, use of hands and arms for handling, feeling, or operating objects, tools, or controls, and use of foot controls are also necessary. Occasional climbing of ladders, crouching, kneeling, bending, precise hand movements, keyboard use, pushing, pulling, and reaching above shoulder level are required.WORKING CONDITIONSThis position requires constant indoor work.
