The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and capable of diagnosing and repairing problems on a wide variety of equipment. As a Small Engine Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and service of small engine equipment and tools.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair small engines, including but not limited to lawn mowers, generators, and other outdoor power equipment.Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.Maintain accurate records of service, inspections, test results, parts, and repairs.Order supplies and parts.RequirementsProven experience as a Small Engine Technician or similar role is preferred.Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills related to small engines.Ability to perform electrical repairs and diagnostics on small engines.Attention to detail.Dexterity; strong hand-eye coordination and steady hands.Strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus.S.D.
