We have an opportunity for Smart Mobility Specialist to join our team. This position has location flexibility and can be based in our Chicago, IL, Indianapolis, IN, Cincinnati, OH or Columbus, OH offices.
This role will focus on turning ideas into reality through deployment of automated vehicles (AVs), zero-emission bus programs, bus priority deployments, electrification of transportation infrastructure, smart curbside parking programs, the deployment of smart signal corridors, and more.

Your Key Responsibilities
+ Work as a Smart Mobility Project Manager reporting to the Business Center Practice Leader, responsible for a portfolio of project assignments in Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio, and Stantec's North Central region.
+ To work as part of the Smart Mobility team to support the delivery of consultancy services and projects relating to Smart Mobility, for example, Co-Operative ITS, Connected and Autonomous Mobility, Electric Vehicles, Shared Mobility, Micro-mobility, Active travel, Alternative Fuels, Data analysis & Integration and MaaS.
+ Support with project management functions to ensure project(s) reporting requirements are met (time/cost) To undertake analysis, interviews, and investigations to support the delivery of project(s) where required.
+ Collaborate with Stantec colleagues to develop personal expertise and industry knowledge specifically focusing on Smart Mobility and the identified services.
+ Take responsibility of delivery of parts of consulting projects where appropriate, always striving to exceed our client's expectations.
+ Maintain existing and develop new client relationships through active conference participation in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and nationally (e.g. ITS America, Transportation Research Board, AUVSI).
+ Contribute to ongoing marketing, RFP response, business development and communications activities.
+ Keep up to date with industry best practice on Smart Mobility.
+ Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Assurance regulations.
+ Operate according to the Stantec core values/principles and have a clear understanding of Systems and Processes.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
+ Demonstrated skills/interest in Smart Mobility service areas.
+ Demonstrated experience in IT, Analytics and Project Management skills
+ Knowledge of behavioral insights, in the context of future transport and the effects on modal shift.
+ Proficient with the current policies and regulation in future transportation.
+ Previous experience managing stakeholders at various levels.
+ Demonstrated success in implementing and delivering customer centric solutions.
+ Ability to evaluate challenges and deliver insightful recommendations.
+ Possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Education and Experience
Minimum of Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Civil Engineering, Planning or relevant major.
Minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of relevant experience.
