Weekly Pay Range - $2551 To $2834 Job Title: CT Technologist Job Specialty: Level 2 CT Tech Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Weekend Overnights, 3x12.0 hours (Friday to Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM); includes holidays, on-call, and callback as needed Guaranteed Hours: [Information Redacted] Experience: Two (2) years' experience, including Level 1 Trauma Center experience License: CT Tech License Certifications: - Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Must-Have: - Siemens Scanner Experience (6 Months)- Epic Experience (Highly desired, 1 Year) Job Description: - Confirm patient identity and exam verification before initiating the scan, strictly adhering to department policies and procedures for patient safety.- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.- Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.- Administer IVs as necessary for the test.- Position patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling techniques.- Maintain accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPIC, including identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion.- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility. Preferred: - Injection certification (preferred, must be willing to complete during the orientation process)- Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment Soft Skills Required: - Effective written and verbal communication skills- A patient and compassionate disposition- Team player who can maintain a cohesive working environment
