Camp Curiosity is looking for an energetic and team-oriented individual to join our team for the 2025 season.The role of the Snack Bar Attendant is to manage and serve food to the campers, as well as maintain snack bar inventory and camper accounts on a daily basis.Summer Camp 2025 season: mid-June through mid-August Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-4pm; Shifts determined upon hire.Responsibilities
- Maintain an accurate lunch and snack bar inventory.
- Inventory management, purchasing, and pick up.
- Prepare inventory/special snack orders.
- Coordinate snacks for special events.
- Pick up & serve camp provided snacks.
- Maintain camper snack accounts on a daily basis.
- Maintenance of the snack bar storage and lunch pavilion area for cleanliness, organization, free of litter, and safety.
- Prepare and open snack bar and serve the daily snacks for campers.
- Food management for lunches.
- Positive interactions with the campers.
- Assist counselors/Leadership with camp groups when needed.
- Know, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines associated with the camp and all program areas.
- Know and understand ALL emergency procedures associated with the camp program.
- Be flexible and fill in where needed.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to pick up inventory.
- Complete food handling training.
- Retail experience, preferred.
- Experience with account management software.
- Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment.
- Ability to accomplish tasks with independence, motivation and responsibility.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and creatively solve problems.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate - verbally and in writing- with children, co-workers, and staff.
- Pediatric First Aid & CPR Certifications at time of hire or able to obtain one month before session start date. (Camp Curiosity will be hosting certification).
- Must be able to obtain Background Clearances, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearances, and Mandated Reporter Training (will change with regulations).
