KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Snow Plow Operator is responsible for driving a snowplow and operating a sander to clear and maintain commercial driveways, commercial parking lots and walkways. The Snow Plow Operator will also be responsible for maintaining safe working conditions by complying with all safety policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.
* Respond promptly to calls for snow and ice events.
* Pile snow in designated and approved locations only.
* Operate vehicles and snowplow equipment in a safe, responsible, and efficient manner following all recommended operating procedures.
* Maintains clean, ready-to-go equipment needed for snow removal.
* Control ice accumulations at job sites with the safe and responsible use of de-icing agents (salt, treated salt, liquids, or other deicing chemicals).
* Hand-shovel or hand-treat site areas as required (walkways, doorways, fire equipment, etc.).
* Be available for communication at all times during a shift and before/after shifts.
* Comply with all company policies and procedures.
* Other responsibilities assigned.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* 1-2 years of snow removal experience on equipment.
* Commitment to being on-call 24/7 for the full winter season 2023-2024.
* Must be 18+years of age to operate equipment and drive our vehicles.
* Valid driver's license
