This as-needed position involves clearing snow and deicing walkways and entrances using shovels, snow blowers, and salt spreaders. No prior experience is required; we provide the necessary training!Key Responsibilities:
- Clear snow and ice from walkways, entrances, and other designated areas.
- Use shovels, snow blowers, and salt spreaders effectively.
- Work as part of a team under the direction of a crew leader.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with team members.
- Respond promptly to weather-related service requests, typically when snow accumulation reaches 2 or more.
RequirementsQualifications:
- Must have reliable transportation to our facility in Burton.
- Ability to travel with the crew leader in an Impullitti vehicle to various service locations.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
- Availability for on-call work during snow events (this is a 24/7 service).
- No consistent work schedule; work is available as needed.
Compensation:
- Starting pay of $25 per hour as an independent contractor (1099).
- Paid weekly.
