POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for the supervision of the Adult Ski and Snowboard School instructor staff and operations. Instruct children and adults on how to ski and/or snowboard.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Required: Level 2 PSIA/AASI Certification
- Preferred: Level 3 PSIA/AASI Certification.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to teach entry to advanced level Skiers and Snowboarders.
- Ability to work with people of all ages, especially children.
- Required: Must be able to pass a background check.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate effectively to staff regarding policies and procedures.
- Assist in Course registration as needed.
- Oversees daily operations of Ski School activities, with the intent of increasing quality and performance.
- Assigns daily responsibilities to the Adult Ski/Snowboard Staff while evaluating effectiveness and performance.
MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and cooperate with other departments as necessary in the completion of the above essential duties.
- Provide information and answer questions about the resort to resort guests.
- Any other duties that may contribute to the cleanliness, orderliness and overall efficiency of the entire operation and all of the tasks contained therein.
- Attend staff meetings as part of the ski area management team.
- Participate in steering committee activities to develop policy and procedures.
- Set up/take down of Ski School staging areas.
- Shovel/snow removal as needed.
- Operation of both Conveyor Belts
- Complete all required paperwork: Class cards, time sheets, incident reports etc.
- Attend assigned training.
- Assist in preparing lesson plans for upcoming lessons.
