Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead with 10+ of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Snowflake Streams Snowpipe Snowflake Tasks and Snowflake SQL. Experience in the Cards and Payments domain is a plus. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can drive technical excellence and innovation in our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of Snowflake-based data solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of Snowflake Streams Snowpipe and Snowflake Tasks to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute data strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Ensure the optimization and performance tuning of Snowflake SQL queries to enhance system performance.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for data management security and compliance within the Snowflake environment.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality code standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the scalability and reliability of data solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and timely issue resolution.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Snowflake and related technologies to drive innovation.
  • Implement robust data governance practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the organization.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and training materials for end-users and team members.

Qualifications

  • Possess a deep understanding of Snowflake Streams Snowpipe Snowflake Tasks and Snowflake SQL.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Show a proactive approach to learning and staying current with industry trends and technologies.
  • Have experience in the Cards and Payments domain which is considered a valuable asset.
  • Display a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Show a keen attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Have a proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering successful data projects.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical challenges.
  • Show a strong understanding of data governance and compliance requirements.

Certifications Required

Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 1/04/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $110000 - $140000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
