SNOWMAKERBASIC FUNCTIONSnowmaker is responsible for carrying out duties assigned by Snowmaking Manager and Supervisors including but not limited to: set up/take down of equipment, maintenance, and repair of equipment. Snowmakers will report any issues directly to on duty supervisor. Daily communication and coordination with Day/night snowmaking supervisor and Snowmaking Manager.CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESMove/set up Snowmaking equipmentCommunicate with Snowmaking Manager/Supervisor, to ensure best snow quality productionPump house operationInventory of all snowmaking equipmentCommunication with snowmaking Supervisor and Manager.Maintain a clean and organized working environmentUse PPE and follow all safety rules and proceduresAssist with other projects or duties as assignedSUPERVISION RECEIVEDDirection is received from Snowmaking Supervisor, and Snowmaking Manager.QUALIFICATIONSFollow all RMR rules, procedures and policiesMust be at least 18 years of ageMust possess a high school diploma or equivalentFollow instructions from the Snowmaking Manager, Supervisors and Mountain Operations ManagerMust be able to lift up to 75 poundsMust be able to work in various positions i.e. sitting, crouched, standing or laying downMust be able to work in adverse outdoor environmentsMust be able to work without supervisionAny snowmaking experience is a plusAt Ragged Mountain we work as a team, flexing with the business and team needs.
