Overview

The Soccer for Success Site Manager will work with players in grades K-8 through a non-competitive, youth development program to help children establish healthy habits and develop critical life skills. The Site Manager will run practices and games based on the provided social emotional curriculum. The Site Manager will provide oversite and development of the coach-mentors and perform basic administrative tasks for the program.

Qualifications

* One (1) year of experience with Soccer for Success program required.

* Passion for urban education, health education, youth development and sports.

* Excellent people skills in a diverse environment.

* Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with staff, site coordinators, parents, and players.

* Ability to motivate others around you and work as part of a team.

* Must be 18 years or older.

* Must pass a background check.

* Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship.

* Must have access to reliable means of transportation.

* Proven examples of displaying the IH values: Passionate, Caring, Respectful, Trustworthy, Collaborative and Accountable.

Essential Accountabilities

* Oversee and develop coach mentors.

* Evaluate performance and provide suitable feedback, balancing development opportunities with positivity and motivation.

* Ensure the integrity of the program per curriculum provided, be prepared to implement curriculum as a Coach-Mentor as needed.

* Manage field and player equipment; bring to and from program as needed.

* Track and enter daily attendance, manage rosters/registrations and other pertinent data.

* Act as a liaison between players and families and site contacts; communicating through Remind as needed.

* Communicate any issues/concerns regularly with Program Manager(s) and attend regular meetings.

* Abide by organizational guidelines, schedules, and site policies, including submitting incident report forms as needed.

* Remain in compliance with all required trainings and certifications.

* Create family engagement opportunities and attend all special events such as end of season event.

* Be active on Sling by reading all pertinent announcements to ensure coaching team is aware of updates, ensuring your coaching team's timeclocks are accurate, and to communicate with your site group.

* Provide a motivating and encouraging environment for players.

Hiring Compensation Range: $23 - $26 hourly

Compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, location and experience.

In addition to base compensation, associates may be eligible for a scorecard incentive, full range of benefits and generous paid time off. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
