The SMDS creates engaging and creative digital and social content to positively promote CBC brands, accomplishments, opportunities, and events. This position executes and evaluates targeted strategic social content that contributes to campaigns and drives results for awareness, consideration, and conversion across all digital platforms. The SMDS uses discretion and independent judgment, as required. Available to work any shift, including nights and weekends. Regular full-time attendance is required during normal working hours.QualificationsEDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two years of full-time experience in social media, communications content management, or digital marketing for a brand
- Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on social analytics, and knowledge of web analytic tools (e.g., Google and Meta business tools, Google Analytics)
- Proficient use of social and digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and Google
- Working knowledge with design and editing programs (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, Final Cut Pro, Capcut, and other leading design and editing tools)
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Highly motivated and collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to grasp and develop the brand voice for multiple stakeholders
- Up to speed on pop culture and trends
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, collegiality, and a commitment to deliver exceptional service, both internally and externally
- Strong computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite, required
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize own work, and pay attention to detail
- Photography and video production, preferred
