The Research Foundation of the State University of New York College at Oneonta invites applications for a full time Social Media and Graphics Specialist with the Office of Alumni Engagement.

In this role, you will design, produce, and manage high-quality digital and print materials, assist in planning and executing communication campaigns, and strengthen alumni engagement through effective digital marketing and social media strategies.
Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:
+ Design and Production: Create and produce marketing materials for alumni events at local and regional levels, including postcards, posters, brochures, emails, and web content.
+ Website Management: Monitor website usage, maintain up-to-date content, and ensure information accuracy and accessibility.
+ Email Marketing: Design, coordinate, and send targeted email campaigns to alumni, friends, and donors; analyze and report on campaign effectiveness.
+ Communications Scheduling: Assist in developing and managing the office's communications schedule to ensure timely delivery and alignment with engagement goals.
+ Newsletter Design: Design and distribute the quarterly alumni e-newsletter to keep alumni informed and engaged.
+ Alumni Magazine Management: Manage the layout and design of three annual issues of the alumni magazine, Reflections.
+ Social Media Oversight: Stay current with social media platform trends, manage social media posts and advertising, and engage with alumni community conversations.
+ Engagement Reporting: Produce regular reports demonstrating the reach and impact of social media and other digital engagement efforts.

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in digital design or social media
+ Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign
+ Basic knowledge of HTML
+ Experience using social media platforms for professional or organizational purposes
+ Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in higher education
+ Skills in Adobe Illustrator
+ Familiarity with Raiser's Edge
+ Proficiency in copy editing
+ experience working with and serving diverse populations
