Social Media Content & Engagement Specialist Location: Maplewood, MN (Hybrid, onsite 1x per week) Works with moderate work direction and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Worker plans and produces technically sound communications projects and campaigns that address business and/or marketing issues identified by client and customer contacts. Develops and applies business acumen. May provide assistance and guidance to co-workers, team members and suppliers. Must apply advanced knowledge of communication technologies and processes. The worker primarily uses administrative skills to execute communications projects, monitor project budgets, apply policies, or produce standard reports. Work is performed independently under minimal supervision and is reviewed occasionally for accuracy and completeness. Initiates actions to design, develop and implement new or improved projects or processes; leads the implementation of problem identification and resolutions; leads teams; may guide the work of others. As a Social Media Content & Engagement Specialist in Home Care Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Creating and executing original content (images, short form videos) across Scotch-Brite brand's owned social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) 3-5 times a week to generate awareness and affinity for the brand;
- Working with cross-functional team members (e.g., R&D, creative/agency partners) to develop industry-leading creative assets;
- Gathering, analyzing and communicating social media KPIs to stakeholders using native insights, social management and analytic tools, and adjusting plans and content to further drive audience growth and engagement;
- Contributing thought leadership for social media and cultural trends that are relevant for the brand; present/socialize trends with Home Care Division management and marketing teams;
- Monitoring, listening, interacting and responding to consumers, influencers, and other stakeholders posting comments or questions about home cleaning and/or Scotch-Brite brand cleaning products, ensuring brand voice and quality standards are met during these interactions; and
- Assisting with the brand's paid social media strategy.
Skills:
- Three (3) years of experience posting and managing social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest with additional platforms a plus
- Knowledge of social media best practices and trends
- Strong content creation experience, including ability to create and edit new social and video content
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience partnering with a consumer brand to create social media content
- Passion for cleaning products, tools, and hacks
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
- Knowledge and experience in the consumer packaged goods industry
- Knowledge and experience in mass retail, online, and other consumer channels
- Experience with marketing technology/tools
- Ability to use analytics to take projects effectively from analysis to insight and implementation
Education:
- Bachelor's degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
