Job Title: Social Media Monitor
Location: USAF Academy, CO
Duties:
- Monitor social media platforms frequented by active US Air Force personnel, such as official Air Force pages, forums, and relevant groups.
- Engage with active Air Force members, responding to inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and report any potential issues or concerns that may impact the reputation or security of active personnel.
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop strategies for enhancing the online presence of the US Air Force community.
- Analyze data and generate reports to provide actionable insights for improving social media engagement within the active Air Force community.
- Stay updated on Air Force policies regarding social media usage and disseminate relevant information to ensure compliance.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Military Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in social media management or monitoring, particularly within a military context or working with military personnel.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms commonly used by active US Air Force personnel.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with social media monitoring tools and analytics platforms is advantageous.
