We're one of the most successful regional gaming and hospitality companies in the country and need a Social Media Specialist to help our business units unlock more growth. You'll support the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager and property social teams with social media best practices, cross property digital reporting, content creation and driving social strategies throughout the organization.

This position requires in-depth knowledge of social media best practices: building paid campaigns, A/B testing, tracking, optimizing, and reporting on performance, and content ideation. We're also looking for you to bring your POV on organic posting strategies from concept, execution and optimizations based on data analysis. This is a highly visible role where the Social Media Specialist will work closely with corporate and multi-property departments, vendors, and agency partners. You'll be based out of our Maryland or Philadelphia location but often work remotely.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

* Social Media Strategy

* Work closely with the digital marketing manager on social strategies, best practices, and KPI's

* Support property social media leads with anything from project ideation, paid campaigns, and content creation to performance reports.

* Ensure social media best practices and brand standards are being followed and refreshed.

* Build and maintain paid social media campaigns and optimize to property KPI's.

* Digital Reporting

* Compile and contribute monthly/quarterly digital marketing review decks and present findings to property teams - involves working with peers in CGSS and sharing best practices from property initiatives.

* Quarterly audit of social media content/strategy from competitors and properties and compile actionable insights.

* Social Media Activations & Leadership

* Strong understanding of A/B testing best practices to implement, monitor and analyze results for testing plans across properties.

* Be on top of the latest social media trends and share actionable ideas with property teams.

* Generate content ideas, write scripts, assist with recording and editing of creative pieces tailored to drive social media KPI's and property messages.

* Training of new social media team members on social media tools such as Sprout Social and Canva

* Miscellaneous

* Collaborate with corporate and property stakeholders to support business goals, keeping stakeholders informed of performance and projects.

* Assist gaming and gaming operations, floors promotions, Live! Rewards, as needed.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

* Excellent presentation and communication skills

* High level of attention-to-detail

* Passion for data analysis and creative thinking, proficient in Excel

* Ability to multi-task and stay organized

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

* Education

* A four (4)-year degree in Marketing, Communications, Media relations or a related field or equivalent work experience

* Meta Blueprint Certification (formerly Facebook Blueprint) is a plus

* Proficient in Google Analytics, Certification is a plus

* Experience

* 2-4 years' experience implementing social media strategy, managing campaigns, driving results and reporting on progress for a high-volume business or industry is required

* Demonstrable social media platform prowess (Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or HubSpot) and content generation experience

* Working knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe InDesign, is a plus

* Experience with project management tools, such as Monday.com, Asana, etc., is a plus but not required

* Hospitality/Gaming industry experience a plus but not required

* Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by Maryland and/or Pennsylvania gaming authorities

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to:

* Occasionally stand for extended periods of time

* Reach for specific objects at short distances in local working area

* Sit 60% of the time

* Use of stairs and elevators
