Job Title Social Media Specialist Internship - Spring 2025 Department Educational Opportunity Program Office Job Description/Duties
The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media. This position will use social media to increasing our online presence and driving engagement with current and future students. The ideal candidate is creative, tech-savvy, and has a passion for social media trends and technologies.
Days/Hours Needed
Approximately 10 hours/week. Student is also eligible for 3 internship credits. Hours will vary based on daily needs and upcoming events. Must be available some nights and weekends.

Required Qualifications
* Ability to use current forms of social media
* Must be able to work responsibly and independently and adhere to deadlines
* Must be a SUNY Cortland student of Senior status
* Experience with the Educational Opportunity Program
* Earned at least a 2.40 GPA
Preferred Qualifications
Communication Studies major
