The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing our corporate social media strategy, ensuring consistent messaging across all corporate channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation, including photography, videography, and graphic design, with a passion for engaging storytelling.
General Responsibilities•Coordinates the communication of the corporate image or products through social media networks and tools•Assists with monitoring of the company online communities and presence•Assists with initial responses to inquiries, complaints, comments and other contacts generated through social media and coordinates escalations or further communications; analyzes responses to social media activities and makes recommendations•Participates in writing, editing and producing social network page, blog and microblogging content for internal and external communications•Coordinates development of social media strategy and editorial calendar
Experience / Qualifications•A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.•Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands•Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation•Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results•Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity•Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards•Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)•Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
- Create engaging content for various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, X , LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging is aligned with overall marketing and communications efforts.
- Analyze and report on social media performance metrics to measure success and inform future strategies.
- Manage photography and videography at the Attleboro site, capturing events and creating corporate content.
