KCM Canada is Hiring a Social Media SpecialistKenneth Copeland Ministries Canada's Media and Communications team (Partner Development Team) is hiring a Social Media Specialist.At KCM, we seek to hire people who reflect the mission and heart of our ministry. The successful candidate is a motivated and organized individual who cares about reaching the people with the Word of God.Under the direction of the Partner Development Manager, the Social Media Specialist is responsible for planning, strategizing, creating, publishing and monitoring content on various KCM Canada's social media platforms to grow an audience, build brand awareness, and ultimately bring new Partners. You will work with the PD Manager and the PD Team to develop strategies and how to implement them. You will also work with other designers and video teams to create content for KCM Canada, KCBC Canada, Victory Channel Canada, and Victory Coffee + Kitchen's social media platforms.This position is not a remote job. You will be required to work onsite as well as be part of organization events and conferences in person. You will also be required to travel for work and filming. If you live outside BC, you will need to be willing to move closer to the office in Langley, BC.Responsibilities:Develop, implement and manage KCM Canada, Victory Channel Canada, and Victory Coffee + Kitchen's social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platform determination, messaging, and audience identification.Plan, create, publish and share new content (including original text, images, video, and code) on a daily basis that builds meaningful connections, increases brand awareness, and encourages community members to engage with the ministry and organization.Collaborate with PD Manager and marketing team to develop social media campaigns.Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.Set up and optimize our ministry pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the ministry's social content.Monitor SEO and customer engagement and suggest content optimization.Interact with our communities and audiences as needed.Provide support by commenting and responding to direct messages.Find ways to increase engagement with our followers on various social platforms.Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.Capture and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and social media best practices to measure the success of every social media campaign, then use that information to refine future campaigns.Promote content as needed through paid advertising.Work with copywriters, designers, and videographers to ensure content is informative and appealing.Identify key influencers and make connections as needed.Job Requirements:Education and Experience:University Degree or equivalent experience.Minimum 3 years' experience with creating and managing social media.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and various Social Media Platforms.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Results-driven, willing to do what it takes to achieve desired results.Always on top of current trends and knowledgeable of best practices for the industry.Excellent communication skills including writing, editing, storytelling and presentation ability.Able to identify and engage with the target audience.Analytical when evaluating the effectiveness of social media marketing.Good planning/prioritization skills.Good problem solving/decision making skills, able to picture/anticipate the implications of decisions.Remains calm under pressure.Excellent team player.High standard of excellence & principles.Driven by the desire to add value to the Partners and to the Ministry.Creative: always looking for better ways of doing things.Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality at all times both internally and externally.Maintains a professional demeanor and outlook at all times.Competent with tools to create and manage social media content such as Later, Canva etc.Other Considerations:Work experience in a Christian ministry or church.Filming and/or photography skills.Born-again believer (KCM Partner an asset).Familiar with Kenneth Copeland Ministries and what we do.Aligned personal values with KCM values, vision and mission statement.This opportunity is for those located in (or willing to relocate to) Langley, BC, Canada.Pay and Benefits:At KCM, we focus on providing a work environment that develops our team members as believers, employees and individuals.We offer competitive wages in a fun, uplifting faith environment.After a probationary period, you will have access to full benefits including extended health and dental coverage.About KCM Canada:We have been ministering the gospel in Canada for over 48 years, teaching Christians how to apply the principles of faith found in God's Word.
