Position Overview

BGB Group is transforming healthcare marketing through innovative, social-first strategies. As a Social Media Strategist at BGB Group, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and execution of social media strategies for pharmaceutical brands. This position combines research, community management, and platform expertise to help clients connect with their audiences in a compliant and meaningful way.

You'll be responsible for conducting social media audits, mining insights, monitoring platform updates, and ensuring the smooth execution of campaigns. Specific Responsibilities

+ Social Listening, Research & Insight Mining

+ Conduct social media audits to evaluate client and competitor performance.

+ Perform social listening to uncover audience behaviors, trends, and insights that inform strategies.

+ Contribute to POVs on platform changes and their implications for clients.

+ Community Management and Moderation

+ Execute day-to-day community management activities, fostering meaningful engagement.

+ Monitor comments and messages, escalating inquiries when necessary and reporting AEs

+ Develop and refine response matrices to maintain consistent brand voice.

+ Ad Trafficking & Campaign Support

+ Assist with building ad drafts and execute smooth ad handoffs to media partners, and ensure a seamless handoff process

+ Channel Setup & Organic Posting

+ Oversee social channel setups and ensure all technical pharma requirements are met and compliant

+ Manage organic posting schedules, maintaining alignment with content pillars

+ Platform Monitoring & Education

+ Stay up to date with platform changes and evolutions, sharing insights with teams and clients.

+ Support team training initiatives, helping others understand emerging trends and tools.

+ Collaboration & Contribution

+ Work closely with internal teams to align creative and strategic efforts.

+ Participate in brainstorms and contribute ideas that enhance client campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications

+ 3-5 years of experience in digital and social media strategy at an agency or corporate in-house (healthcare experience required).

+ Social Media Knowledge: Familiarity with major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their specifications.

+ Research and Social Listening Skills: Ability to analyze data and extract actionable insights to inform strategies.

+ Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to maintain brand voice across channels

+ Attention to Detail: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and consistency.

+ Team Player: Enthusiastic about collaboration and learning from others.

+ Adaptability: Comfortable navigating platform updates and shifting client needs.

Differentiators

+ Hands-on experience with social listening tools (e.g., Meltwater, Brandwatch).

+ Experience managing social channels, organic posting and paid ads for brands.

+ Familiarity with regulated industries, particularly healthcare or pharmaceuticals.

+ Understanding of ad trafficking and campaign performance monitoring.

+ Curiosity for emerging platforms, tools, and social media trends.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000

The salary range provided represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational need. Salary is only one component of the total rewards package offered at BGB Group.
