JOB SUMMARY
- This position is responsible to assist the therapist, and coordinator to provide the needs of patients and families by providing social services to, individuals under the direction of a licensed social worker or Licensed therapist. This will include leading educational/enrichment groups with behavioral health patients. This position works in collaboration with the health care team to ensure timely, cost effective discharge and transition planning. Some clerical, registration duties will be required. This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including adolescent through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelors in Health Care or Behavioral Health related field
- PREFERRED:
- BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN SOCIAL WORK
- Experience with Behavioral Health Care
