General Definition of WorkPerforms intermediate advanced human support work in the support and assistance of agency clients with personal, social, health, mental health and economic needs, investigating adult and child abuse and neglect complaints, interviewing individuals, assessing needs, developing service plans, managing case, maintaining records and files, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the assigned supervisor. Minimum Qualifications Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree with coursework in human services, or related field and moderate experience in social work in a community setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred QualificationsThis is an adoption position in Child Welfare. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience in Child Welfare; specifically Foster CareApplicants who meet the education requirements but not the work experiences will be considered for a trainee status or work against.
