A growing services organization in New York City is currently seeking Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW), licensed Psychologist, and/or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join their team.About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Specialty: Employee Access Program / Mental Health Services
- Patient Population: Adults (occasionally Pediatrics)
Responsibilities:
The Social Worker (LCSW / PsyD / LMHC) will:
- Manage and treat a large caseload of clients
- Provide short and long term treatment, diagnostic and crisis assessment to clients of all ages and ethnic backgrounds in an outpatient setting
- Administer a multitude of treatment modalities, including: individual; group; family and crisis counseling
- Assist with various client clinical issues, including but are not limited to: all mental health/psychiatric diagnoses; marital and family distress; workplace conflicts; substance abuse; domestic violence; and bereavement
- Conduct presentations as part of the organization's wellness programs
- Treat clients mandated to treatment by their employer for behavioral health, substance abuse or other work-related issues
- Facilitate the employee's return to work, and consult with employers on employee's progress
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years professional Clinical and/or Counseling experience
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree
- One of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW), licensed Psychologist, and/or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Expertise working with and treating couples
Desired Skills:
- Bilingual (English and Bengali, Cantonese, Mandarin, Polish Russian, or Spanish)
