Pay is dependent on Licensing and ExperienceFull License: Hourly ***-*** Salary ***-***Limited License: Hourly ***-*** Salary ***-***25% Agency Placement FeeIt is a Therapist that is needed but they will need to have a masters' degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling and possess the corresponding State of Michigan licensure.Learn more about the facility here:The Adult Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible for maintaining a caseload consisting of clients with a primary mental health and/or co-occurring substance abuse diagnosis. The therapist is required to conduct intake assessments, to maintain the case record in a timely fashion, to complete authorizations with various funding sources in a timely manner as required, and to conduct appropriate treatment services based on medical necessity. Regular working hours for staff are Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm. Evening hours will be required, and determined based on program needs.***ABH is the largest program that client has and a typical case load is around 50 active cases. ABH currently has over 100 employees which includes leadership, case managers, and other therapists.***Specific Responsibilities: 1. Primary responsibility is to participate in the delivery of clinical services, including intake evaluations, and direct treatment for adults and families.2. Assess and document the needs of clients who present themselves for outpatient mental health and/or co-occurring substance abuse services utilizing Person-Centered Planning principals.3. Provide individual and group therapy.4. Work collaboratively with others in relation to the client and family including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, school personnel and other family service or support people.5. Must meet all of the contractual requirements of the funding sources and/or agency, including maintaining State licensure.6. Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings and case consultations.7. Complete clinical records and agency documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and procedures of the Guidance Center.8. Follow a professional code of ethics.9. Coordinate effective discharge planning prior to case closure. 10. Complete 24 hours of training in the treatment of adults with mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.11. Other duties as needed.Travel: Mileage Reimbursement when personal vehicle used - IRS standard. .64 per mileAny training paid for by TGC.Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance. 401K. Must have a minimum of a Master s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling and possess the corresponding State of Michigan licensure. Candidates without a state license can be considered but must obtain state licensure (LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC or LLP) within a 60-day training period beginning on the date of hire. This period may be extended by up to an additional 60 days of training at the sole discretion of the employer. Failure to obtain licensure within the training period will result in the employee being unqualified to perform work functions. Beyond the training period, all state licensures must continually remain active, in effect, and free from disciplinary action.Candidates must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional credential within 120 days of hire. Must have one year of experience (may include time spent in fieldwork or internship) treating or working with people who have been diagnosed with mental illness.Must be able to work independently.Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Must have excellent organizational and attention to detail skills in order to track and prepare data accurately and timely. Must have the ability interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Cannot accept candidates who are on student/work visas, and/or require sponsorship to work in the U.S. at this time.Individual programs may have additional requirements.
