A New York City-based health services company is actively seeking a Spanish-speaking Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and/or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join their team in Brooklyn.About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:30am to 5pm (2 late days a week 10:30 to 7pm)
- Patient Population: Ages 5+
- Caseload: 55 clients
Responsibilities:The Social Worker (LMSW / LMHC) will:
- Complete admission screening and conduct psychosocial assessments
- Make treatment recommendations and participate in treatment planning
- Provide social casework services; provide individual, group, and family therapy
- Develop and implement discharge plans and and coordinate services with community providers
- Review the individuals psychiatric, medical and other case records and discuss issues with families and other members of the treatment team
- Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with individuals and their families
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and/or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
