As a Social Worker at Avera, you'll have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and support.Key Responsibilities: Provide medical social casework to patients and families, addressing their psychosocial and continuum of care needs.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.Develop and implement plans to address patient and family concerns, promoting optimal functioning and well-being.Participate in policy and program planning, continuous quality improvement, and advocacy efforts.Manage high-risk referrals and provide supervision and peer social work consultation as needed.Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work required.Current Social Work license in the state of Nebraska or Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota, or North Dakota required.Valid driver's license and insurability by Avera Health's automobile liability insurance carrier.What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate: $43.50 per hour.Paid Time Off (PTO) available on Day 1.Options for free health insurance.Student Loan Repayment Program: up to $10,000 in loan repayment assistance.Sign-on bonus: $7,500.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; 80 hours/2 weeks.
