Provides evaluation and assessment of children/adolescents' mental health needs including psychiatric diagnoses and treatment recommendations. Provides referrals for services as indicated. Provides collaborative consultation to the Attending psychiatrist regarding the child/adolescent functioning and progress. Minimum Education: Master's Degree (Required) Minimum Work Experience: 3 years (Required) Required Skills/Knowledge Ability to diagnose and provide evidence-based interventions to children, adolescents, and parents. Clinical Social Worker (Required) Clinical Psychiatric Social Worker Full-time Salary Range: $77,043/year - $98,425/year Psychiatric social worker with either a LGSW or LICSW will provide safety assessment in the ED of children and adolescents with mental health problems. In concert with the Attending Psychiatrist, will determine if the child/adolescent is safe to go home or needs hospitalization. Minimum Education: Master's Degree Social Work (Required) Minimum Experience: Zero Required Skills/Knowledge - Excellent communication skills. - Ability to relate to diverse patient populations. - Time and attendance are vital for this position. Required Licenses and Certifications - A minimum Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) (Required) - LCSW or LICSW (Preferred) Social Worker Full-Time Salary Range: $77,043/year - $98,425/year This social work position supports patients admitted to the hospitalist teams and their families. Social work is a member of the multidisciplinary team and provides psychosocial support to patients and their families, collaborating with providers, nurses and case managers for safe and timely discharge. Fosters positive and professional interpersonal relationships with patients/families, physicians, hospital staff, community agency representatives and visitors. Provides comprehensive psychosocial assessment for identified patients and based on findings, facilitates interventions. Effectively uses interpersonal communication skills to resolve conflicts and promote healing environment. Minimum Education: Master's Degree Social Work (Required)Minimum Work Experience: 1-year post-MSW experience as Social Worker or second year field placement in a complex medical setting (Required)Required Skills/Knowledge- Excellent communication skills.- Ability to relate to divergent patient populations.- Sensitivity to individuals from varied backgrounds and cultures.- Must be licensed in the District of Columbia at minimum at the LGSW-level, be in the licensed applicant status as a new SW graduate with proof of pending DC licensure or licensed in another state with proof of DC licensure at any level. Social Worker II Full Time Salary Range: $83,595/year - $106,808/year The Social Worker II fosters positive and professional interpersonal relationships with patients/families, physicians, hospital staff, community agency representatives and visitors, provides comprehensive psychosocial assessment for identified patients and based on findings, facilitates interventions. Effectively uses interpersonal communication skills to resolve conflicts and promote a healing environment. Demonstrates leadership and advanced clinical practice by mentoring junior staff, educating social work students and staff, medical/nursing providers on a range of topics that impact patient and family coping, communication, family dynamics, de-escalation and staff coping. Minimum Education: Master's Degree in Social Work (Required) Minimum Work Experience: 3 years post MSW experience (Required) And Required Skills/Knowledge - Excellent communication skills. - Ability to relate to divergent patient populations. - Sensitivity to individuals from varied backgrounds and cultures. Required Licenses and Certifications Must be licensed in the District of Columbia at minimum at the LICSW-level.
