This job was posted by : For more information, please see: TypeFull-timeDescriptionPosition: Soft Count ClerkReports to: Soft Count SupervisorFLSA Status: Non-ExemptPosition Summary: Responsible for the removal of the Bill Accepters from Slot machines and sometimes the Drop Boxes from Table Games. Associates are also responsible for counting the contents in the Bill Acceptors and Drop Boxes.Essential Duties:Performs the Slot machine drop.Performs the Table Game drop.Safeguards Bill Acceptor and Tables Games drop proceeds.Records the currency, chips, and all related items in the drop for each machine and each table properly.Carries machine keys, table drop keys, and keys needed to perform drop and count, and is responsible for all key procedures.Performs minor maintenance to equipment and cash boxes as needed.Operates within a team structure during the drop and count operation.Communicates daily activity to oncoming shifts to ensure a smooth transition.Ensures overall compliance with gaming/regulatory and Casinos policies and procedures.Must be willing to work any shift, on any day of the week including early mornings and weekends.Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements::: {bind= html: Job.Requirements } Education and Experience:High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.Previous experience in soft count preferred.Demonstrate to possess good math skills and efficiently operate a 10 key.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Must have ability to use good judgment.Must maintain a professional attitude towards co-workers and customers.Must possess the will to learn all aspects of the casino floor and the soft count room.Understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures.Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.Working Conditions and Physical Environment:The working conditions and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
