Experience of the right candidate:
- Experience: Business/Applications analysis or related experience: 4 years or more.
- Experience working in the telecommunications space or within the billing/account receivable space.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- Abilities: Quickly identify business problems & opportunities; prioritize & organize effectively; analyze & interpret data, communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Technical skills: Comprehensive knowledge of software applications such as SQL, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
- Position is responsible for the design, configuration, reporting, and maintenance of back office applications supporting the mobile product.
- These mobile back office applications support devices, accessories, offers, promotions, business parameters, billing data queries, billing solution, billing data controls/inspections, non-bill validations, and mass changes.
- The scope of the mobile back office applications includes the Mobile biller, along with a number of custom developed and vendor tools.
- This position is part of the Billing Design and Data Standards organization, and supports initiatives driven by the mobile product team and billing operations.
- Compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data related to current and future operation.
- Creating reports, charts, graphs, and presentations to aid in proposing new strategies for successful business changes.
- Developing project estimates by identifying phases and elements, personnel requirements, and costs.
- Analyzing external market dynamics and other data sources to assess trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management.
- Recommending use of new technology or existing technology alternatives to solve problems or make improvements.
