Company Description Vichara is a Financial Services focused products and services firm headquartered in NY and building systems for some of the largest i-banks and hedge funds in the world. Job Description This individual will participate and guide development efforts in the following activities: •Work in conjunction with a Business Analyst to gather user requirements by conducting information gathering sessions, participating in requirements interviews and workshops, documenting existing systems and processes, and documenting future state requirements •Write production worthy code in C# with both MVC and Web Forms based applications for our member, district, and board member portals •Perform unit testing of new and existing code, and create in-code documentation for our member, district, and board member portals •Participate in discussions of the definition, design, and construction of web processes and data structures to support project requirements •Track the full development lifecycle progress using User Story records within our ServiceNow tool •Thoroughly document technical specifications within User Story records within our ServiceNow tool •Branch code within our Azure DevOps Server source control solution and check code back in periodically and merge into Trunk when complete Qualifications 84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. 84 Months of experience in both Console and ASP.NET Web Development 48 Months of experience writing C#/VB.Net code using the .NET framework 48 Months of experience writing and creating SQL packages and stored procedures 36 Months of experience in gathering user requirements by conducting information gathering sessions, facilitating requirements interviews and workshops, documenting existing systems and processes, and documenting future state requirements 24 Months of experience in integrating web applications with Enterprise HRMS systems 24 Months of experiencing using a source control solution to manage code repositories within a team of developers (personal code repository experience not qualifiable) 84+ months of BizTalk integration using WCF and web services 60+ months of MS Dynamics CRM development Bachelor's degree Additional Information Compensation - $70-$75/h
