A software developer at Group W routinely applies programming and software engineering expertise to architect, develop, and enhance defense analytic and workflow tools. Knowledge of a range of languages and web-based technologies is critical. Developers will work on a hybrid team with other software developers and requirement analysts to build and maintain a wide variety of defense applications. Requirements:
- DoD Secret Clearance
- Four-year STEM degree (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, etc.)
- Experience using at least two of the following programs: C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- U.S. Citizen
Preferred:
- CompTIA Security+ Certified
- Experience with feature-driven development
- Experience working on Department of Defense organizational and workflow processes
- Graduate-level coursework in computer programming
Responsibilities:
- Develop web-based applications within existing frameworks
- Integrate data mappings and exchanges between different DoD tools
- Enhance existing DoD modeling and simulation tools
- Maintain updated knowledge of new and emerging industry trends and technology
- Modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance or upgrade interfaces
Salary: $80,000 to $120,000 (provided as a general guideline only. Compensation dependent upon relevant work experience related to the scope of the position, education, training, and market considerations).Benefits:
