Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for software systems implementation, customization, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Applies knowledge of software systems design, customization, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation to design and develop new and existing software applications.
  • Responsible for software applications dealing with client/server-based systems, web-based applications, API's/microservices, and multiple eCommerce platforms.
  • Responsible for authoring relevant developer focused application documentation covering design, development, and testing processes.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • All other duties as assigned.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs other related duties as
  • Ensure work area is clean and organized.
  • Attend staff team building events.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times

COMPENTENCY, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • 2+ years of experience with the following: C#, PHP, front end web technologies, and relational databases
  • Technical understanding of all phases of software systems programming and design including modern programming technologies and practices
  • Communication proficiency, problem solving/analysis, deadline driven, strong attention to detail, well organized, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with version control – Git preferred.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

  • Equivalent combination of degree, certification, and/or relevant work experience will be considered.

PREFERRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with Azure PaaS offerings
  • Experience with MVC frameworks
  • Experience in eCommerce/web application environment
