Our team members have proven experience leading strategic initiatives within the civilian Government agencies.RCS is seeking a Software Developer (Systems Software) to support an environment that is fast-paced and dynamic. Maintain a network, records system, and other analytical applications to collect and analyze data on the business operations. The goal is to improve the integrity and usability of its data collected during its day-to-day operation. Performing this duty through the development of software systems. Requires support specializing in development and maintenance of software that extracts, transforms, and loads data from various data formats into data models. Also requires expertise that will appropriately secure those capabilities.This position requires the candidate to work onsite in Chantilly, VA. Relocation assistance is not available.What you will do:Information System SecurityWill work to maintain and implement a strategy for appropriately securing sensitive application, administrative and Sponsor data.Address enterprise auditing requirements.Provide the appropriate documentation required for the Approval and Authorization (A&A) process.Submit appropriate documentation to Sponsor for prior approval.Coordinate activities to make sure that mission applications are available to utilize for investigations and assessments.Develop and prepare required artifacts for certifications and accreditations submissions in accordance with regulations.Use the Sponsor's Risk Management Framework (RMF) to successfully obtain system accreditation.Utilize Sponsors XACTA software to adhere to accepted assessment methodologies and standards.Interpret Nessus vulnerability scans and remediate.Perform security analyses of network architecture and provide guidance in the development of functional requirements.Coordinate accreditation and certification activities with other stakeholders.Maintain baseline functional specifications and standards for deployed systems.Maintain baseline technical specifications and standards for deployed systems.Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure problem and issue resolution.Manage and update the master support schedule.Software DevelopmentWill work within a data engineering team. This team works closely with operations officers, analysts, and external engineers to gather requirements and refine systems.Assess and validate development requirements across Sponsor organization.Develop software to extract, transform, and load data.Help architect and implement a framework for extraction, transformation, and loading data.Assess and validate system integration requirements across Sponsor organization.Provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for Sponsor's data-related software systems.Finesse cyber data models.Required Qualifications/Education:Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with CI PolygraphExperience identifying and validating requirements for Extract, Transform, and Load systems.Developing software.Python development.Integrating new technology stacks into software systems.Nice to Have Qualifications:NiFiKafkaLogstashSQLBuilding modular systemsUnderstanding of the Cyber Security domainRCS is an equal employment opportunity employer.
