Title - Software Engineer 3 Client - Texas Department of Health and Human Services Location - Remote Job Type - Contract 1 year Pay Rate - 65-70/hr c2c START DATE : 04/01/2024 Job Description Minimum 8 years' experience in USA .The contractor role is for a Senior Java Developer and will develop Full-stack Java applications on HHSC's cloud (Azure/AWS) platform within an Agile (Scrum) environment for Gavel application to track and manage Case Management System. The development team follows Agile (Scrum), and this role should have experience with Agile methodologies. A successful candidate will have hands-on experience programming Full-Stack Java applications on the industry's leading open-source platforms and cloud-based technologies. Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. MUST HAVE 8 Required Experience in Java/J2EE Enterprise Development - (Core Java, JDBC, Spring Boot, and Angular, for example). 8 Required Experience with SQL. 8 Required Experience with Web-based user interface development using Web-Tier frameworks - (Angular, React for example). 8 Required Experience in Web services development - (RESTFul Services, for example). 8 Required Experience designing enterprise applications and/or services. 8 Required Experience creating technical and functional design documentation. 8 Required Experience within software development using Agile methodology - (Scrum, for example). 8 Required Experience with multi-tier system/application development - (SOA, Microservices, 3-Tier applications, for example).
