Gryps is seeking a talented Software Engineer to help design, develop, and improve our Connect Platform . In this role, you will work with a small team and play a key part in automating data and document ingestion across diverse construction-related systems. Our ideal candidate is someone who embraces challenges, is adaptable, and is committed to delivering excellence in SaaS software development, whether addressing development, security, or operations issues. Responsibilities In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Collaborating closely with other software engineers, actively participating in brainstorming and planning sessions and contributing to daily code development and reviews.
- Leveraging your expertise to build robust RPA, API and DB pipelines.
- Providing troubleshooting and support for existing pipeline runs in customer accounts, ensuring seamless operation and customer satisfaction.
- Expanding and enhancing existing microservices, aligning them with the overarching product vision.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 0-2 of professional Software Engineering experience, with a proven history of impactful contributions.
- Proficiency in Python, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of industry best practices and coding standards.
- Familiarity in AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, S3 and DynamoDB
- Experience with web technologies, including Browsers, HTML, HTTP, REST, and APIs.
- Understanding of browser automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Puppeteer, enabling seamless data handling.
Great to have
- Experience with advanced web scraping techniques, particularly circumventing bot detection mechanisms like CAPTCHA, user behavior analysis, JavaScript challenges, etc
- Prior experience working with Microservices Architectures
