No matter your title, we're a team that collaborates on building great products and making an impact together. We're looking for a Front-End Engineer to join our growing Web Team in New York. You will be exposed to and be familiarized with our services and have the opportunity to grow in a full stack capacity, where you will deepen your systems knowledge and career potential. You will work closely with product and design counterparts to build web experiences for future users as well as internal users. You will be responsible for the full feature development lifecycle from idea to deployment and refinement. Current's Web Team is dedicated to creating robust and responsive web experiences. We work on a mix of user growth initiatives as well as internal tooling to monitor and assist our existing members. This role has a base salary range of $140,000 - $190,000. Compensation is determined based on experience, skill level, and qualifications, which are assessed during the interview process. - Building web applications using modern Javascript Frameworks
- Maintaining high quality code and patterns
- Providing insight and feedback to peers
- Deploying production code
- Setting up monitors and error alerting
ABOUT YOU:
- 2 or more years of professional front-end engineering experience
- You're motivated to build with best practices; having experience in modern front-end frameworks (React or Vue) and a deep understanding of JavaScript and related web technologies
- You're eager to learn, open to discussion and feedback, able to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills
- Understand organizational goals and ways to optimize to achieve them
