About the Role As a Software Engineer at LexisNexis Reed Technologies, you will contribute to new product development. As a Software Engineer III, you will design, develop, and maintain complex software solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and scalability. Your expertise will drive innovation and contribute to the success of our cutting-edge projects. Conditions of Employment:

Responsibilities
  • Interfacing with other personnel or team members to finalize requirements
  • Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity
  • Working closely with other Development team members to understand Product Requirements and translate them into Software designs
  • Implementing development processes, coding best practices and code reviews
  • Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders
  • Completing bug fixes and resolving technical issues
  • Ability to solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing.
Requirements
  • Experience in C# (required), other development languages are a bonus (such as Angular/React, JavaScript, C/C++, HTML, XML)
  • Demonstrate understanding of .NET (.NET 8 experience preferred)
  • Experience and ability to work with data modeling and data storage subsystems
  • Experience and ability to work with data manipulation languages such as SQL
  • Familiarity of industry best practices - unit-testing, code coverage
  • Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources
  • Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity
