Caregility is seeking a Software Developer for the Reporting Team. This role will be responsible for developing and enhancing Caregility's cloud-based software analytics services, focusing on data and dashboards. The role will play a key role in shaping the data warehouse strategy, driving software development, ensuring customer satisfaction, and collaborating with Product Management and others. This position is a Full-Time Exempt role. This position will be based on the East Coast. It is a hybrid role in our Wall Township, NJ office.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software engineering
  • Passion for agile product delivery and a spirit of continuous improvement
  • Apply data analytics best practices to contribute to the design and development of data models and reporting solutions that enhance business intelligence.
  • Continuously optimize queries, reports, and dashboards for performance and scalability, ensuring a seamless user experience for large datasets.
  • Build and optimize intuitive and insightful dashboards to provide real-time visibility into analytics
  • Build a strong engineering culture and drive the strategy, vision in collaboration with the Product Management
  • Write code in Java and Spring Boot to build data pipelines to copy data over from source databases to reporting data warehouse.
  • Maintain reporting front end using React and JavaScript.

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and customers.
  • Troubleshoot issues, make recommendations, and ensure timely problem resolution.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree with 3-5 years experience in engineering, OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience writing java, JavaScript code and familiarity with writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for software engineering tooling, platforms, and infrastructure
  • Experience working across disciplines and teams.
  • Experience leading agile delivery teams and implementing continuous improvements.

Additional Requirements

  • May require occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
  • Requires extensive sitting, standing and walking.
  • Limited weekend and/or night work may be required.
  • Domestic and international travel requiring multi-night stays within and at times outside the local work area.
  • Current valid U.S. Passport is desirable.
  • Must be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contracts.
  • Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Caregility policies and procedures.
