IT: Two Sigma Investments, LP seeks Softw Engr in NY, NY. Incls but not limited to design, eng'r, implement, & maintain softw tools & technologies used to analyze predictive models, investments, & fin'l mkts. Devise & eng'r high-performance data processing softw apps that can handle streaming real-time data processing & batch data processing. Note: Co. Hybrid work attendance policy: In-office work attendance req'd at aforementioned office address for collab days based on each team's req'mt; telecommuting / working from home permissible for remainder of same month. Must have Master's or equiv in CS, Math, or rel field + 1 yr exp in softw eng'g, or rel exp; OR Bachelor's or equiv in CS, Math, or rel field + 3 yrs exp in softw eng'g, or rel exp. Must have exp w/ Java, Python & SQL. Must have exp w/ math, stats, & data analysis incl regression analysis, data anomaly detection & scientific data cleaning. Must have exp w/ Python data analysis libraries incl numpy & pandas. Must have exp w/ softw design incl communicating w/ bus. partners, turning their needs into scalable solutions, & designing lrg scale & reliable softw from end-to-end. Must have exp w/ front office teams (e.g. portfolio mgrs & quantitative researchers). Must have exp w/ leading cross-team efforts & projects towards execution. Must have exp w/ P&L performance attribution. Must have exp w/ Linux dvlpmt environ. Must have exp w/ debugging & troubleshooting issues in softw sys's w/ multiple technl stacks. Must have exp w/ softw dvlpmt life-cycle skills incl unit testing & source code version control (Git). Must pass co.'s req'd skills assessment. Employer will accept any amount of exp w/ req'd skills. Rate of pay: $165,000-$325,000/yr (may also be elig for other forms of compensation & bnfts).
