  • You have developed a deep empathy for users, collaborating with Product managers and incorporating end-user feedback and testing into an iterative development cycle
  • You have built and maintained infrastructure for large-scale projects, contributing significantly to high-throughput systems with extensive user bases or substantial revenue impact
  • You understand and appreciate scale in the many dimensions it can be observed
  • You have designed, maintained, and monitored scalable infrastructure, creating state-of-the-art backend services including message queues
  • You have led and delivered projects with multiple contributors as part of a multidisciplinary team, utilizing agile principles and frameworks
  • You have expertise in multi-cloud environments, including Azure, AWS and on-premises solutions, and can navigate complex cloud architectures
  • You understand Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and have hands-on experience with tools like Terraform, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and database management (both NoSQL and SQL)
  • You are experienced in environments requiring self-direction and adaptability, such as early-stage startups and greenfield projects
  • You exhibit a solid grasp of software architecture, contributing to product requirements documents and application-level systems thinking and planning
  • You possess deep knowledge and understanding of software engineering best practices, supported by either a robust academic background in the field or extensive experience as a senior contributor within a team
  • Bonus skills include experience with data pipelines, enterprise integrations, and AWS/Azure Marketplace offerings
