IT: Two Sigma Investments, LP seeks Softw Engr in NY, NY. Incls but not limited to build & maintain softw infrastructure to improve research & productionalization of quantitative models used by Two Sigma's internal trading sys. Design scalable solutions to automate repetitive stages in model dvlpmt & provide better tooling for data & workflow validation. Note: Company Hybrid work attendance policy: In-office work attendance req'd at aforementioned office address for collab days based on each team's req'mt; telecommuting / working from home permissible for remainder of same month. Must have Bachelor's or equiv in CS, Comp Eng'g, or rel field. Position does not req specific yrs exp but req's listed skills. Must have demonstrated knowl of ownership in at least 1 object-oriented prog'g language such as Java, JavaScript, or C++. Must have demonstrated knowl of scripting structured data schemas & logical computational functions in Python. Must have demonstrated knowl of analyzing data w/ expressive libraries & computing platforms such as Pandas, SQL queries & Jupyter Notebook. Must have demonstrated knowl of implementing algorithmic solutions for performance improvements & eng'g automation processes to expedite modeling workflows. Must have demonstrated knowl of maintaining REST API srvcs for data population in back-end app incl exp in building Python AppKit codebases, general User Exp (UX) & art design practices. Must have demonstrated knowl of specializing in useful open- source softw utilities & producing softw sys's for key stakeholders in different domains. Must have demonstrated knowl of holistic softw deployment lifecycle like deploying production code, maintaining srvc observability, & creating & running job instances. Must have demonstrated knowl of using industry-standard dvlpmt tools such as IntelliJ as IDE & Git for version-control. Must have demonstrated knowl of writing meaningful unit & integration tests & debugging live production issues under time pressure. Must pass co.'s req'd skills assessment. Employer will accept any amount of exp w/ req'd skills. Rate of pay: $165,000-$325,000/yr (may also be elig for other forms of compensation & bnfts).
