Job Description

Software Engineer (direct hire) needed for are a leading role in designing and developing software applications to control automated material handling equipment for use within manufacturing, warehousing and distribution industries. This position is for a a company we represent in Charlotte, NC that are a Japanese manufacturer of electronic components, based in Nagaokakyo, Kyoto. It produces ceramic passive electronic components, primarily capacitors, and has a majority market share worldwide in ceramic filters, high-frequency parts, and sensors.

Estimated Min Rate : $54600.00Estimated Max Rate : $80000.00

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years in Application development in the Windows Operating System environment and Visual Basic, C/C++ programming languages.
• Oracle or SQL Server Database
• Experience with Automated Material Handling Systems is preferred
• Willingness to travel.

TRAVELThis position requires 25- 40% travel including domestic and international. A valid driver's license and good driving record are required.

What You Will be Doing:

• Take a leading role in designing and developing software applications to control automated material handling equipment for use within manufacturing, warehousing and distribution industries.
• Perform in-house testing with software and hardware emulators.
• Create operator and administrator training manuals and materials
• Install systems at customer's site and perform on-site integration with automated equipment.
• Train operators
• Provide ongoing support including after-hours support on a rotational basis
• Assume project management responsibilities
• Lead and direct the work of other software developers
