We are seeking a Software Engineer to provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. The Software Engineer shall be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of software applications and systems within the efforts infrastructure.Responsibilities include: Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new featuresDevelop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositoriesDevelop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standardsDevelop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data utilization, etc.Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirementsInstalling and configuring software applications, databases, and middleware components according to best practices and system requirements.Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environmentsAssist with developing and executing test procedures for software componentsPerforming routing maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and backups to ensure system reliability and security.Providing technical support and assistance for end-usersProvide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems Here's what you need: Five (5) years of experience as a Software EngineerBachelor's degree or four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degreeExperience with software development in an Agile environment Bonus points if you have: Experience using Jira and ConfluenceExperience providing recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standardsExperience configuring and managing security policies, firewalls, and access controls to enforce security. Security Clearance: An active TS clearance to start. SCI eligibility preferred. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
