About the Role:
We are looking for a talented Front-End Engineer to join our team and help take SplashDash, our AI-driven analytics platform, to the next level. SplashDash transforms raw data metrics into insightful and actionable analytics for end users. As an engineer on this team, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing cutting-edge user interfaces, data visualizations, and reusable components to enhance the user experience.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces for SplashDash.
- Build reusable React functional components using TypeScript.
- Use React hooks (e.g., useState, useEffect) to create dynamic functionality.
- Integrate APIs with React Query (TanStack Query) for seamless data handling.
- Utilize TailwindCSS for styling and Vite for a fast development experience.
- Create engaging data visualizations using graphing libraries (experience here is a plus).
- Collaborate with the backend team using Express and Node.js to ensure smooth API integration.
- Leverage Server-Side Rendering (SSR) for enhanced performance and scalability.
- Contribute to the design and overall product vision for SplashDash.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in React, React hooks, and TypeScript.
- Proficiency with TailwindCSS for modern styling.
- Experience with React Query or similar API management libraries.
- Strong skills in creating reusable, functional components.
- A solid eye for design and user interface optimization.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with graphing and data visualization libraries (e.g., Chart.js, D3.js, or similar).
- Familiarity with Vite for development workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Express and Node.js servers.
- Understanding of SSR (Server-Side Rendering) techniques.
- Digital marketing and SEO/SEM understanding
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid role. You'll work from our office in Southington, CT (409 Canal St Plantsville CT 06479) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with the flexibility and work remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
